Economic Development staff, Oro Valley Chamber of Commerce staff and elected officials visit businesses every week. They have a goal to visit at least 200 businesses each year.

The Town supports shopping local and provides free advertising for all Oro Valley businesses on its website. Please visit The Business Navigator where you can search for businesses by their name or category.

In partnership with the Oro Valley Chamber of Commerce, the Town sponsors an annual Business Summit to hear from the business community and foster business owner collaboration, networking, and idea generation.

The Town has a great partnership with the Oro Valley Chamber of Commerce and Chamber staff.

Chamber staff:

• Participate in personal business visits with Town staff and members of the Town Council
• Organize ribbon cuttings and grand openings for all businesses new to Oro Valley regardless of Chamber membership status
• Host an annual Business Summit (sponsored by the Town) to hear from the business community and foster business owner collaboration, networking, and idea generation. 

   

• The Town conducts yearly business surveys to collect information regarding factors that may be impacting Oro Valley businesses. This helps the Economic Development Department develop programs and locate available resources that may assist with remediation.  

• A comprehensive email database was created during the pandemic that now helps the Town communicate with businesses about pertinent resources, upcoming events & support services.
