Oro Valley Builds Momentum in Early 2026
Published on January 29, 2026
Oro Valley entered 2026 with steady business activity, strengthened partnerships, and continued outreach across the community. In January, the Town hosted Startup Tucson’s Client Growth Workshop at Town Hall, providing practical sales strategies for startups and small businesses. A second session is scheduled for February 19, reinforcing collaboration with regional entrepreneur support partners and expanding access to growth resources for local businesses.
Economic Development staff also continued proactive Business Retention and Expansion (BRE) outreach through in-person visits with Wren Hair Studio, Casa de la Luz Hospice, Urban Wellness Center, and Oro Valley Hospital. These conversations help identify business needs, explore partnership opportunities, and connect employers with available Town resources.
Commercial activity remained active with several ribbon cuttings marking new openings across the community. In January, The Motive AZ, Oro Valley Coffee Roasters, and Pink’s Window celebrated grand openings, reflecting continued private investment in Oro Valley.
Strategic planning efforts advanced as well. The OV Trails Connect Stakeholder Group Meeting, held January 15, brought community members together to help shape the Town’s trail and pathway master plan. Infrastructure planning and quality-of-life investments remain important components of long-term economic competitiveness.
As 2026 begins, Oro Valley continues building momentum through targeted outreach, entrepreneur engagement, and thoughtful growth initiatives that support a resilient and business-friendly environment.
