Mayor Joe Winfield spoke to more than 600 people on Oct. 27th. Highlights of his speech include the following:

  • The Town experienced financial wins during the 2021-2022 with general fund revenues coming in 18% over budget while town expenditures ended 5% under budget. 
  • The town issued more than 2,500 permits, representing more than $117 million in new construction. This includes 16 new businesses that opened and another seven that are under construction or in the permitting process.
  • The Town is growing and has successfully preserved its character and beauty by adhering to the guidance of four pillars: economic vitality and fiscal responsibility, public safety ecosystem, public works, and parks and recreation.
